I want to get a haircut, but I want to see it on my head beforehand. Are there any good sites for this?

InStyle, the online magazine version, offers an amazing makeover site. Visit the InStyle Makeover to choose a new hairstyle with a new color and see the look on your own image.

I’ll demonstrate the process I went through. It’s a matter of a few easy steps:

First, I chose the hairstyle I’d like.

Then, I uploaded an image of me. The site encourages a picture where the face is visible, so it’s best if you have long hair to have it pulled back.

I then chose Heidi Klum’s hair, but of course I changed the color to match my own. That is not my hair in the picture below.

I took both pictures to the hairdresser: one of Heidi Klum’s hair and the one up above. The image down below is my real hair.

This site is super easy to use–plus it’s really fun. You can try out all sorts of hairstyles on your face from short to curly and then change the color. I decided not to go blond!
